He jumped into the icy blast, his static line unhooked,

The canopy became his shroud; he hurtled to the ground.

他已經血肉糢糊到當眾人要抬起他，必須將他從軍鞋裡倒出來

這是一首屬於美軍空降師的二戰軍歌,有趣的是,裡面沒有什麼偉大事蹟,也沒有什麼歌功頌德,只有一個菜鳥傘兵在跳傘時因為傘包故障而摔死的過程,很恐怖,但又充滿西方人的黑色幽默.
