Now when I go back and find these things
Now when I go back and find these things, it triggers so many different thoughts: God, I forgot about that. That's how fast we were moving. Now I can slow it down and hopefully remember what that meant. Speaker Will Weatherford. More reputations have been lost than made running the House, but Weatherford's star is still on the rise after his two years as speaker. Even though he lost on pension reform, he can still rally conservatives by citing his efforts to rein in that growing fiscal problem.
Maybe one way of saying it is if your only obstacle is dyslexia, then it could be desirable. But for a child who grows up in a low income neighborhood, who has an average IQ, who has a troubled family life, and has dyslexia, it is not going to be desirable. You have too many obstacles to deal with.

The idea that women "feel that the father's presence won't compensate for their own absence" and that "women rush home to take care of children, not because they have to but because they want to" is a stereotype against fathers, who are just as capable and often desire just as much as women do to be there at home to raise their children. To me the argument that ?mod=space&uid=2070834&do=blog&quickforward=1&id=51004 women in particular need to be rewarded for their role in the home is not the answer to gender equality in the workplace, but instead men and women need to start recognizing the need for and taking on a more balanced role in the home. If you want equality in the workplace, you have to have equality in other aspects of life as well.
