The WiF (World in Flames) translation Project has got a breakthrough today! Quoting from Fingolfin, director of WiF “As for translating the map … I could propably do this once.’ He indicated that they are positive about the further co-operation with us.

Sad to say, I am now not able to participate in such an exciting program until May. However, the communication with WiF working team should not be disrupted. We really need to set up a temporary union for focusing on this work. The brief information of the union will be mentioned in the following part.

Objectives:
1. Aim to finish a translated map with the following 3 months
2. Negotiate a sustainable program to supervise a board in Urbase

Group members:
1. numerous translators who could spend their spare time in project (free to join)
2. 1 technician who master War3 Map Editor (WE) (also own a unclosed map)
3. 1 consultant with fluent written English ( communicate with WiF team members)

此言差矣.
翻譯工作本身就是一項困難的工作
不但是語言運用的問題,更多的是中西方文化差異的關係
訂定翻譯立場及準則是非常重要的一步
所以希望團隊先沒有所謂的「領袖」或「版主」 讓各位自由討論

然後就是為了解決要地沒有通才的問題
懂WE的可能不具翻譯能力 反之亦然
分擔翻譯工作至各位會員身上 按分配會員將完成的工作貼於版區上
再由技術人員作為整合~這樣會更有效率

第三,亦是我比較關注的一點...
引入外國遊戲是一項極大的計劃,我希望清點人數
先不說工作範圍,到底有多少人願意投身這個工作?
要地有多少版區區長會統一實行這個計劃?
