Good morning everyone. Nowadays, using the Internet is becoming popular. With the aid of the Internet, many candidates running for the district council election are taking advantage of the new platform to try to get votes.
However, prior to the election, many people are going to spread rumors, they aim to hurt the reputation of others. Since the Internet is a wonderful tool to achieve this purpose. The launch of misleading online messages has repercussions far beyond the political sphere.
Recently, the Civic Party has been criticized for helping the foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong to fight for their right of abode. This controversial issue may lead to the loss of the district council election this year. However, solicitors should help the poor and the exploited , when they are treated unfairly. Most people would not care about justice. They are only concerned about their own benefits. In fact, politicians from different parties have encouraged the public to demonstrate and have distributed leaflets to attack the Civic Party through the Internet.
Also, last year, I help promote the Ex-Student Union ‘Circle’. The competition was keen and exciting. I learned a lot from that experience. Our opponents always attacked us on Facebook; many visitors expressed their opinions using foul language.
Sadly, although we strongly desire to live in harmony, we always destroy it in a dishonorable way. It is hoped that we can express our opinions wisely and pleasantly.
